What we have done in the past is have hubby get all his clothes and stuff ready at night so that in the morning when his alarm goes off (which is not too loud) then he just rolls out of bed and goes straight to the bathroom where his stuff already is to get ready. No lights on, only like 10 seconds of alarm noise, nothing else.
