WebA: We live in a two story house. The Ring Chime is about 25 feet from the Doorbell. We had a little trouble so I moved it closer. Subsequent to buying the Ring Chime, we bought a Ring Chime Pro. Extending the Ring Chimes own wireless network fixed the problem. WebAt night the heat from the night vision LEDs combined with the heated stucco keep the case above 125 deg. until late at night, so the doorbell chime will not work. Bottom line - I'll pull out the Ring doorbell and put on a traditional doorbell switch and install a real WiFi security camera to cover the front door. Answered by Rogr 2 years ago
