Web15 Jan 2024 · Power light comes on for a few seconds and I hear the fan then it shuts down then comes back on and does the same thing over and over. Its brand new out of the box! Can't get it to stay on long enough to get it to boot up. Acer said the battery needed charging for 7 hrs. Took battery out to just run off power and it still does the same. It powers off randomly, comes on when I touch the power button but continues this cycle. I used another cable to test it, same problem; I tested another monitor, same problem; I tested with another convertor, same problem.

WebAt home I have a Razer Blade (14", 2013) plugged into a 32" TV as a monitor using an HDBI cable. Whenever I sit up from my desk chair my monitor goes black for a few seconds before coming back. It will always come back on it's own, it just takes a few seconds. Sometimes it even happens if I just rearrange how I'm sitting in my chair.

This last for about 5 seconds and then it powers off. The standby light flashes twice and then it turns back on to the black blank screen. The cycle continues until I unplug the TV from the outlet. Currently, it displays a full screen blue color. I used the same BenQ with my prior PC and when the PC shut down the monitor will turn off also and turn back on when the PC is restarted. This doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes after waking my computer from sleep my monitor will turn on show the Asus logo for less than a second then turn off and repeat the process.
